Bulldog Drummond Strikes Back (1934)
Colman had parted ways with the Goldwyn Studio and this was his first independent venture, with 20th Century Films. Critics at the time found this film more polished than its predecessor (sound techniques had improved considerably in 5 years), and gave it the somewhat double-edged complement: "scintillating without being particularly meaningful".
