Champagne for Caesar (1950) is an amusing satire on radio quiz shows.
Colman plays genius Beauregard Bottomley who, when refused a job at a soap company, sets about ruining the business into bankruptcy by winning a fortune on their radio quiz show.
Celeste Holm is Bottomley's romantic interest, and Vincent Price is flamboyantly hysterical as the soap company's psycho-president.
The three stars play off each other well and the movie is entertaining. Colman, however, was so disappointed with the film that he would not do another for six years.
