ON THE SET
OF: "NICE GIRL?" Deanna Durbin was filming this, her first grown-up movie,
later called "Nice Girl?" at the same time she became engaged to young movie
producer Vaughn Paul in 1941. Vying for her affections in the film were Franchot
Tone and Robert Stack.
And look who paid a visit to the set to chat with Stack - a very young John
F. Kennedy, a few months before enlisting in the Navy that September.
