Hi,
It is actually March 30 (1986) that marks the date of James' passing, but any day is a good day to spend with him!

To all James Cagney fans out there; today marks the anniversary of his passing. I hope that every true fan will honor his memory in some way; I plan to spend the day watching his movies on DVD.

I'm only 19 and wish I'd been born sooner. Cagney was the absolute BEST actor ever. I would've loved to sit down and talk to him!!! He was simply amazing and to this day no one has what he had. He had "it".

I also saw "Captains of the Clouds" recently, and Jim is a living doll in color. In "City for Conquest",the scene where he is working out in the gym with Frank McHugh, showing off those muscles (especially those legs!) are to die for!

I just saw Cagney in color for the first time in "Captains of the Clouds." What a treat! That hair, those eyes. I would love colorized versions of his movies to accompany the black and whites.
I do wish we could have seen James in all his freckled glory just once! From an early interview (accessible on tmc) done after "The Public Enemy," you get to see his freckled face. He looks very different (and as attractive). He is soft-spoken in this piece, making him all the more attractive!
Those freckles are visible on his upper torso when he's laying on the table getting a massage from Frank McHugh in "City for Conquest."
Anyway!!!! I came on with the intent to ask if anyone can direct me to a place to buy "Sinner's Holiday" and "Taxi!" on DVD. Would sure appreciate a response to this. Thanks!
