Janes Cagney was one of a kind. No one captured the essence of being a New Yorker like Cagney did. In "City for Conquest". as Danny Kenny, Cagney tells Ann Sheridan. Peg, he's got two fists to fight for the both of them. a classic NY sentiment.

Growing up Jimmy Cagney was my movie hero. We all sat around after Sunday dinner and watched Cagney movies together.he was the best. He was bigger than life but was a genuine nice guy.

Simply the best. My claim to fame is when I was younger I got into trouble (Angels with dirty faces) and the local newspaper ran a story headed "BLACK GLOVE BURGULAR DID FACTORY JOB JAMES CAGNEY STYLE" I only wish I had his style. A truely great man.
