I'm playing Jimmy Cagney in a Production of "Shakespeare in Hollywood", about the filming of Max Reinhardt's "Midsummer Night's Dream." I knew a little about Cagney before we started this, but through my research and wathcing his performances on old tapes, I have found a huge amount of respect and admiration for his personality and talent. James Cagney is truly a role model for any aspiring actor.

James Cagney died on my Birthday 3/30/86 and I went to his funeral, I have been a fan since I was a kid and I'm almost 56. What makes me angry is that neither TCM or AMC recognizes him and his movies the way they do the other actors!!! IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY. I've e-mailed TCM with no reply. But no matter what, I still have his DVDS and VHS tapes. I love you James!!!!
