I'm now 44. Discovered Cagney movies, at the age of 14. Nothing compares to a Cagney picture. The home is almost a shrine, to a great actor, dancer, and an amazing and caring man. Have most movies on video, but still struggle to complete a collection on dvd, in the uk. Will all films ever be readily available in the uk?

One of Cagney's early films starred Edward G -- "Smart Money". And, since they both worked on the Warner lot for many years they probably met fairly often after making the movie together. |

I saw Mr. Cagney at the premiere of 'Ragtime' in NYC. I called out to him Hey Jimmie whadda ya hear whadda ya say ? He turned and looked at me, did a shoulder shrug and pointed at me in a perfect imatation of himself as Rocky Sullivan. I walked on air for a week.

James Cagney remains the best actor of all time.I began watching his films when I was younger at my grandmothers house around my uncles and was fascinated by him at an early age.Angels was the first film I saw and is my all time favorite,It is great to get these on DVD now also.I have collected all ,of his films on vhs over the years even the short films he did before 1930. He is the best.

Does anyone have any information about Marge Zimmerman. I'm under the understanding that she was James Cagney's caregiver. She is my husband's grandmother. We are interested in other children she had and how to contact them. Thanks.
