They don't make them like they used to! That's for sure. I am always searching the tv networks for a James Cagney movie. You were one of a kind, James. Too bad I couldn't tell you, just how talented you were. Bad timing, I guess. I was born in the fifties

It really bothers me that there are not showing enough of JAMES CAGNEY'S movies. I mean his birthday is July 17th, and I wrote to TCM about it and nothing. It's Audrey Hepburn month--no offense, she was a great actress, but COME ON. The showing of Cagneys' movies are very few and far between, it's just terrible. I LOVE that YANKEE DOODLE DANDY!!!!!!!

THE MOVIE ANGLES WITH DIRTY FACES INSPIRED ME AS A YOUNG MAN. I LIVED THE STREET GANG LIFE,LOOKING UP TO NOTORIOUS GANGSTERS UNTIL I MYSELF WAS A PART OF IT.I HAVE DONE MANY A GOOD TURN TO YOUNG GUYS GOING THE WRONG ROUTE AS I DID. THE MOVIE LIKE MYSELF SOLD NEWSPAPERS AND HUSLETED TO MAKE ENDS MEET. A BROKEN HOME,TWO HARD FIST AND STREET SMARTS WERE MY WISDOM UNTIL I MET A GUY WHO TOOK ME UNDER HIS WING AND GUIDED ME TO A DECENT PATH OF LIFE.MY FRIEND IS GONE NOW ,LIKE CAGNEY AND BOGART BUT MY LOVE AND MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS BE NEXT TO MY HEART.THE REFORM SCHOOL ERA AND THE THE HARD WORK IN THE NEWSPAPER FIELD HAS GIVEN ME THE CHANCE TO LIVE AND EXPERIENCE DRAMAS THAT CAN'T BE MATCHED BY TODAYS STANDARDS. SO LONG BOYS AND THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.
