James Cagney is the greatest, hands down! He was the best that ever was
and always will be in my opinion.
Yankee Doodle Dandy was his peak performance, he did it all.

James Cagney has always been one of my favorite actors. Charm, chrisma, delivery. In theatre, a triple threat as he could act, sing, and dance (his own style and some style). As a child I wanted to grow up to be that actor. As an adult, I wish drama students would show the same insights and commitment to their art.

I have been a fan of James Cagney for many years. There is no other like him. What is most appealing about him is the warmth and sensitivity that is very much a part of who he was as a person. They don't make them like him anymore. How I would have loved to have met him.
