i discovered James Cagney in the wee hours of March 17 1974--a local UHF station in Cambridge was showing City For Conquest. Must have been the St. Patrick's Day luck o' the Irish that led me to that station.I've been hooked ever since !
Happy St. Patrick's 2009 to the spirit of Mr. Cagney and all of his fans !

Regarding the farms.
I looked around on the net, all I could come up with with of his Estate was in martha's Vineyard which is being sold for 22 million dollars. he bought it for 100.000
no idea who is selling it, might be his daughter, or maybe she already sold it back in the 80's so the new tenants are just flipping it. beautiful estate.

Ive tried to look for his farm in NY, dutchess county, ITs called "Verney Farm" but have yet to see a picture of it. Im sure someone lives there, and yes when you visit the website for Dutchess country they have tours of the town, and they did mention they drive past the house of cagney hahhha
