Cagney was just on bio channel. Maybe it will be on in the future, look for it Cagney fans. What a great humble man Jimmy was. Interesting tid bits from bio, He was the first holdout on a contract for an actor. This lead to other actors being able to negotiate with other studios. He also started the first "independent" film company with his brother Bill Cagney. Cagney was also known as the far away fella. Jimmy had a passion for painting and spent alotta time doing this in his later years. He basically spent the last 20+ years on his upstate ny ranch living in a small modest home. Mr. Cagney also received an award from Roanald Reagan when the Gipper became president. It was the highest honor bestowed on a U.S. civilian. What a great actor, what a great life James Cagney lead. Thanx for the memories Jim. You will never be forgotten.

James Cagney is the greatest, hands down! He was the best that ever was
and always will be in my opinion.
Yankee Doodle Dandy was his peak performance, he did it all.

James Cagney has always been one of my favorite actors. Charm, chrisma, delivery. In theatre, a triple threat as he could act, sing, and dance (his own style and some style). As a child I wanted to grow up to be that actor. As an adult, I wish drama students would show the same insights and commitment to their art.
