I have been a fan of James Cagney for many years. There is no other like him. What is most appealing about him is the warmth and sensitivity that is very much a part of who he was as a person. They don't make them like him anymore. How I would have loved to have met him.

I discovered Jim Cagney when I was 8 years old (now 58) in Yankee Doodle Dandy on WOR-TV,NY "Million Dollar Movie" My parents used my admiration for Cagney several times; "Eat your vegetables or I'll call Mr. Cagney", "Clean your room,or I'll call Mr. Cagney". I wanted to be a B'way Musical Comedy star and discovered I can't sing or dance. Following my love for Jim Cagney, who drew me into the study of American Film, I grew up to be a college professor of TV Production and Film History. At age 52 I went back to take tap dancing classes! James Cagney has influenced so many aspects of my life for 50 years. I love the man, whom I never met, who has had a profound influence on my life. Thank You Jim!

I am a 15--year old Cagney fan and i have been since i was nine. Yesterday i invited my friends over and we watched Angels With Dirty Faces, and they loved it. Thanks for the movies Jim.
