Happy belated B-day Jimmy! I will be celebrating still (I had to work on the 17th), because I will always love you and your films. Hope you're still smiling down on us from above. Love ya!  Too bad TCM didn't play at least 'one' movie in your honor.

 OK, so now I'll post a question. I've just read one of the sites linked from this one, the delightful article by Theresa Ludwick, in which she quotes Joan Blondell saying that James Cagney had "delft blue" eyes.
Delftware has two shades of blue. So, which of the two delft shades of blue? Anyone know? Only the dark blue shade is such a lovely rarity in eye coloring, but maybe not so rare in Irish eyes?

I truly love James Cagney. If he was on the screen, my eyes and ears were watching and listening to him. Maybe there is a great actor today somewhere, but no other will ever quite equal what his presence brought to the screen. Thank you for this wonderful page.
