I've always considered myself a huge Cary Grant fan. I never wanted to give Gary Cooper a chance. That was until I saw a fantastic film called "The Fountainhead" with Patricia Neal. The chemistry between the two was very real. I then viewed "Sergeant York." I was so moved by Cooper's performance.I wanted to be the good hearted man that Alvin York was. Cooper's performance in this inspired me to start reading my Bible again. I will always love Cary Grant, but Gary Cooper has taken his place as my all time favorite actor. The gentle, yet strong leading man that is Gary Cooper will never be matched.ever. Thank you for keeping his memory and spirit alive.

I have always loved Gary Cooper and his movies! One of my favourite is the Hanging Tree. My video version is getting pretty fuzzy. I hope I can find this one on DVD. I saw one of his movies for the first time this week. I believe it was one of his last movies--Man of the West. So Good!

I'm 39 years old and a big fan of classic movies, yet I've never seen a Cooper film until last week. That film was "Sergeant York." I was so moved by Cooper's performance, I became hooked. Next came "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and then "High Noon." Wow. Just those three alone! I am officially a devoted fan of Gary Cooper. I deeply cherish his films.
