Two recent film acquisitions: MAD CHECKMATE and OPERATION ST. PETER, bringing my collection to 85 of EGR's 89 films! The challenge: obtain the remaining 4: ARMS AND THE WOMAN (1916), THE BRIGHT SHAWL (1923), THE NIGHT RIDE (1930) and NEITHER BY DAY NOR BY NIGHT (Israel, 1972).All the best to you! Hope you and Adam are well.

If I'm correct, EGR was my grandfather's uncle. That makes him my great-great-uncle, or something to that tune. I know the family all were on the same boat from Bucharest, but I know very little else about the family. My grandfather died 10 years prior to my birth- and my father was never terribly interested in family history, and it's quite difficult to establish contact with the rest of the family. I know there's a few cousins of mine in Chicago, two in Colorado, a handful in Florida, and the majority in New York.

I'd be interested in what you know about the family, Francesca. I'm familiar with some of EGR's work as well. Watched Little Caesar in Acting class, and listened to EGR often on Sirius's Old Time Radio.

I think I missed EGR by a generation or two.

I'm working as freelance researcher. Has Fran set up an office or representative for any inquiries on licensing image of EGR ? Confusing results on Google search. Is the rep MODA Entertainment or RLF Victor Prod ? Would appreciate info at earliest convenience.
Thanks !

My great grandmother, Ada Mary Tyler, left England to work for Edward G. Robinson as a nanny in the 1930s (also later for Fred Astaire). It would be interesting to know anything more about her and her life if possible. Are there any photographs? (I have one newspaper cutting with Edward G.).
Thanks - Steve Tyler.

My mother acquired a beautiful tea cart from her ex mother in law that told her she bought it from the estate of Edward G Robinson. Large round wheels with 2 tiers of glass. Beautiful wood frame, my mother has taken great care of it. My mother is 80 years now and her ex mother in law just passed away at the age of 101. I can get pictures if you'd like.
