Edward G Robinson was one of the greatest actors that have hit the screen. I am and always have been a fan of his. My question : Whom did he enjoy working with? Who was his favorite actor to watch?
21 March 2005 - Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania

Response:   Dear Kathy,
He enjoyed working with many of his co-stars. Barbara Stanwyck, Charlton Heston, Karl Malden, Marlene Dietrich come to mind.
Laurence Olivier, Maggie Smith, Richard Burton and Julie Andrews top the list of actors he liked to watch.

You may not want to order from 'Robert's Hard To Find Videos.' I have never received an order I placed there, despite assurances that the item was 'in-stock.'

Francesca, hello...I believe I can document the answer to this trivia question; HOW MANY TIMES DID EDWARD G. ROBINSON APPEAR PROFESSIONALLY WITH HUMPHREY BOGART? The two were on Broadway at the same time in different plays from the 1920's, and Bogart died in 1957, which gives a thirty-year-plus range of collaboration. I believe the answer I have is accurate; however there could be other undocumented professional appearances they shared...Good luck.

Response:   Dear Bob,
I hope you got your answer.

Good Luck!

'Eddie Q & A' is an extraordinary site and resource. The questions are probing and well answered! I wanted to 'drop by' and say hello. (I'd love to think of a 'stumper' question; maybe I will.) Please call and we can catch up... --Bob

Response:   Dear Bob,
Thank you for the definitive resource on my grandfather. Robert Beck's "Edward G. Robinson Encyclopedia" (McFarland and Company Inc., Publishers) is an exhaustive, yet concise, compelling exploration of my granfathers career.
Thank you Bob!

Will be in touch soon..
