Hello, I love your tribute to EGR. He was always one of my favorite actors. Though he was short he was tough and not afraid of anything. I live in Wichita and many years ago knew a photographer named Jack Goldberg. Jack was a great guy and photographer and closely resembled EGR. He drove a big Lincoln with the suicide doors and always smoked a big cigar. He told me one time that he was EGR's brother and that the G stood for Goldenberg. I would appreciate if you could verify this. I know Jack had one or two beautiful daughters that lived in CA. A year or two before Jack died he was selling his studio equipment. I bought an antique view camera lens from him which I still have to this day. Best regards, Rodd

I am sure you won't remember me, but I met you through a high school classmate of yours, Valerie Harris. I will always cherish the memory of meeting your grandfather at a dinner party he hosted for you and a few classmates in his home in Beverly Hills. I often tell people of this evening spent, and of my great admiration for your grandfather.
I will never forget his kindness and the the great patience he showed to a then 19 year old fan, and how he personally gave me a tour of his home and the vast art collection. He treated me with such respect and caring. Needless to say I was a fan before we met, but remain a huge fan and devtote to his huge body of work.
I hope all is well with you and perhaps some day we can connect to discuss old times.

Hello - I have an odd question. Could you tell me what Edwards mother's maiden name was? My father-in-law says his family was related to Edwards but thought that Edward's real name was Rekusin (spelling?). In reading his biography - I see that it is Goldenberg so I wondered if it was the mother's family name? I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

My computer is frustrating me with inability to obtain email addresses from the "@" symbol. To: Christy/Christopher Byrne, if you have better luck, try email to me that comes up; what I sent earlier may not be a good email address. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you Francesca for your response about my mothers painting.I had wrote you twice and found out that you wrote me back from the first inquiry. It was worth a try! Thanks anyways. I was actually able to blow up a tiny black and white photo of a different painting my dad (Peggy Lee's travel mgr. back then) of one of my moms paintings and it worked great.thank God for technology. It turned out pretty good. Thanks again.
