A new book about Errol Flynn has been published by BearManor Media. It is entitled 'Errol Flynn: The quest for an Oscar' by James Turiello and is available on Amazon or by visiting the BearManor website. (Sorry I am unable to include a link to the website on this guest book but please google BearManor Media and you will find us.) Thanks!

I'm the founder and operator of In Search Of Errol Flynn, a website offering 'escape class' vacations to Havana Cuba and Port Antonio Jamaica. It is no secret that both Havana and Port Antonio were Flynn's two most favorite places in the world, and by his own admission too. Since 2000, I've been a host and concierge for Flynn aficionados wanting to go "where Flynn went." Days are spent writing, relaxing, and re-tracing Flynn's footsteps. As one would guess, we visit his old hangouts and, for Havana, his movie-set locations from The Big Boodle, analyzing the "elemental man" along the way. I'm also a collector of mid-20th century memorabilia. For Flynn memorabilia I currently have tile from his Navy Island house and swimming-pool tile(and swim-up bar pieces) from the Titchfield Hotel, which of course he at one time owned. Also on the auction block is a Caribbean-weathered copy of Showdown signed with a personal message to his parents in May 1946. This book has been through 9 hurricanes and 3 tropical storms while languishing in obscurity for over sixty years in Port Antonio Jamaica! For memorabilia and rarities collectors out there, these items are currently listed on ebay. The Caribbean trips to Havana and Port Antonio are available via advance bookings and run from November through March each year. Q:(Betty Kennedy)"Why exactly Cuba?" A:(Errol Flynn) "I'll tell you exactly why." January 1959 I must say, this site--The Mave--is very well put together. The Home Page graphics, including the menu selection interface to the big-screen, are exceptional! ~Dennis Mullen In Search Of Errol Flynn "A fair day in the tropics." ~Errol Flynn, Summer 1958
