There will never be another Fred and Ginger. Only they hold the magic of yesterday and they will shine for ever through thier performances! Nothing is as heart warming as curling up to a Fred and Ginger movie and getting lost in time with them. 26 July 2009 - Canada Julie Orr I don't believe that second Limehouse Blues was in a movie, but it could have been in one of Fred's TV specials or guest appearances. 31 May 2009 Jerry Tucker | @ Fred Astair danced to Limehouse Blues in two movies, one black and white and the other The Zeigfeld Follies. The black and white dance was far superior. Can someone name the black and white movie? I cannot find any information online. 24 May 2009 - Ohio Julie Orr | @ Has anyone read the new biography on Fred called "Puttin' on the Ritz: Fred Astaire and the Fine Art of Panache"? I got a good price at one of the bookseller sites, ordered it, and read it slowly and carefully. I discovered quite a few mistakes, especially in the first half of the book, but the author (the late Peter Levinson) conducted exhaustive research and interviews and wrote much that was previously unpublished. He also included a great deal of material that HAD been published. Still, I believe the book is more than worth the price I paid because of its ultimate humanizing of Fred, and I would love to see other comments from those who've also read it. 17 May 2009 - Warren MI ili Fred Astaire is the best dancer ever lived. Talents like his never should be forgotten. I could watch his films endlessly and forever. Human cloning should be allowed just to keep him alive and dancing forever!
