Hi, all, this is Lu again.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year. Too bad nobody posts here anymore.

Hi all, this is Lu again. I was watching one of our Beloved Star's movies on the internet and I guess because I haven't seen Dennis posting anymore, I guess that means John Garfield being rediscovered isn't going to happen. What a shame. How sad that such a talented and underated actor as well as a wonderful and caring person is treated the way he is treated.

Hi, this is Lu. To all who used to post on this website, I wish you all a Merry Christmas. Again, I was hoping that Dennis would post something here for Christmas and would mention what was happening with our Beloved Star or what was not happening.

Here's to our Beloved Star, John Garfield, Merry Christmas In Heaven and also to the deceased members of his family and also to the living members of his family, Merry Christmas to all of you.

Hi, this is Lu. I was hoping that we would hear from Dennis about the campaign to get our Beloved Star, John Garfield rediscovered. Otherwise, we will never know. When I watch him in his movies, I say to myself how sad it is what happened to him and maybe people will never know what a WONDERFUL and TALENTED actor he was.

Hi, all and Dennis if you happen to post here during the Christmas Holiday, could you tell us since you seem to be the one who knows how to do it, if anything is being done to get our Beloved Star, John Garfield rediscovered. I was just curious if you had any information on that.

Hi, Dennis it's Lu. I just wanted to ask you, that interview you mentioned with Patricia Morrison who interviewed her. I found an interview with her and I went through it but going through it fast, I didn't find the part where she talked about the Fallen Sparrow and working with John Garfield. I just wanted to know if that was the right interview. Thanks, Lu

Dennis, Hi, it's Lu SO HAPPY to see and read your post. I hope to see more of your posts. Again it was a delight to see somebody posting besides me. You seem to be the fan of John Garfield who admires him the most. If you post again, could you inform us if anything is being done to get our Beloved Star rediscovered or is that project no longer being pursued.

I also wanted to wish everybody who reads these postings if not posting themselves, a Happy Thanksgiving.

As to our darling Beloved Star, John Garfield, Happy Thanksgiving in Heaven. And also to his wife, Robbie, his son David and his adorable daughter Katherine, Rest In Peace!!!! You are LOVED and Greatly Missed!!!!!

And to the rest of his family, Happy Thanksgiving to you also.

Hi Happy Thanksgiving...I found an interview with Patrica Morrison. She starred with John in The Fallen Sparrow. She passed away earlier this year at 102 years old. She said she loved working with Garfield, and seemed like a wonderful woman!

Hi, all, this is Lu again. I know I have not stated this before, even though I have seen Four Daughters a zillion times but when I was watching Four Daughters yesterday, I couldn't believe Mickey Borden (John Garfield) was telling Ann (Priscilla Lane) how much he loved her and she turned him down for Felix (Jeffrey Lynn). If it were me, I would have melted in his arms. I just wanted to say one more thing, in my opinion it was Felix' fault that Mickey killed himself. Mickey feels bad enough that he cannot support his wife and Felix before he gets on the train, he gives Mickey money for Ann's sake. To me that would be a low blow to any man's ability not to be able to support his wife.

He was a wonderful person besides. As I stated before, thank goodness, I can see his movies on the Internet now which I do take advantage of. Dennis and Barbara, I hope even though you don't post a lot, I hope you will post every so often and Barbara I will email you. Maybe you can email me the pictures from the luncheon, I can't believe it was 5 years ago already. As for Mr. John Garfield, your fans love you VERY MUCH and you will LIVE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER!!!!!! Rest In Peace!!

Being that nobody seems to post on this website and the fact that they don't seem to be playing any of his movies anymore, I have been feeling sad because of it. I can't understand why he is treated the way he has been treated. He was a very underrated actor. He was both good in dramatic roles as well as comedy. Every time I watch him in one of his films, I look at him and say why, how sad. Every other actor and actress both past and present have been featured on TCM On Demand, sometimes they repeat the same movie but our BELOVED STAR is completely ignored. That makes me mad.

Hi, Dennis, this is Lu. I was surprised and thrilled to see your posting. In fact I looked at the date to see if it indeed was current. Yes, it has been a long time but I am glad to see you posting again. It gives me hope that this website hasn't been completely abandoned. Dennis, I am glad you said what you just said. Have you had any success in getting our Beloved Star, John Garfield rediscovered. I was just going to mention that Destination Tokyo was on TCM this past Sunday I guess in honor of Veterans' Day and I was hoping that TCM would have it on their Video On Demand but no such luck.

Hi Barb and Lu...just wanted to say hi been a long time. TCM has been terrible lately not playing very good films in my opinion. I to am glad I have about 20 Garfield films on DVD. Happy Thanksgiving to you both!

Hi, this is Lu again. As Barbara mentioned Pride of the Marines was on TCM this past Saturday. And I just wanted to mention, if anyone missed it, I can't believe it but it is on the TCM Video On Demand Channel. If your cable provider carries Video On Demand and if TCM is featured on it, you should be able to watch it. Just wanted to let you know if anybody reads these postings.

Hi, Barbara, it is SO NICE to see you post on this website. I am sorry that you have had some trying times. I too haven't had a good year. Mainly my husband has had several medical issues that we are dealing with as well as some expensive home repairs as well.

Now that I know your email address, I hope you don't mind if I email you some time. I have just been so tired lately trying to get my house in order. Yes, I was SO surprised to see TCM played Pride Of The Marines and I just remembered, I completely forgot, Thank Your Lucky Stars was on at 12:00 today. He was on at the very beginning.

Hi Lu, I am very rarely on this site. I donít think anyone else realizes itís up again. This has been a bad year. I lost my dad a few months ago, and there has been some illness in my family. I just wanted to let you k ow Pride of the Marines is on TCM today. You are right, they hardly show any Garfield films. I am so glad I have copies of all his films. Be well.
