I was captivated 4 years ago aged 32,i now have an extensive collection of Gene memorabilia,even a letter from her to her great friend Vincent Price.
She was just.amazing.

Gene Tierney started my love affair with classic movies - I saw "Leave Her To Heaven" when I was 14 years old and loved it. Undoubtedly beautiful, incredibly talented - she had it all. Fortunately, quite a few of her movies are now available on DVD in Australia, so at 36 years old I am now experiencing some of her work for the first time. Wonderful!!

So many of the women in Hollywood during the studio phase were such troopers. They overcame so many obstacles and had to fight very hard for what they wanted and constantly had to prove themselves. Jean Tierney and Jennifer Jones are two my favorites. In spite of very difficult personals lives they worked and worked well and complained little. They did what they had to do, sometimes at great personal cost. Thank you for these terrific sites.

This is a great well organized and informative site. I love the golden era of Hollywood and believe no women today hold a candle to the women back in the day in the movie buisness. Gene was a living doll, the full package. She's a legend.

I am in my midthirties and have always loved Gene Tierney since I was a teenager! She looked like an exquiste doll with stunning looks! One of the most beautiful women I have ever seen! And what a talent! Her life-story is so sad! But she rose above it! I love Bogie and Bacall as well! My favorite Tierney movie is "Laura" and "Leave Her to Heaven" plus "The Razor's Edge."
