I am really just starting to get interested in her. I think, as many people do, that she was incredibly beautiful. She was also very talented and versatile - she could play both cruel characters and sympathetic ones. I think my favourite film of hers is The Ghost and Mrs. Muir because it's so haunting and romantic.

My favorite movie of Ms. Gene Tierney will always be the Ghost and Mrs. Muir. I can watch that movie over and over again. Each time that I watch it I noticed how beautiful Ms. Tierney was. I read her biography and its really sad that she was bipolar and had to be committed. For a long time I never would have thought that Ms. Tierney was an American I picked her as a British actress.

I just watched "Laura" on Turner Classics the other day and what an incredible film. Gene Tierney was a wonderful actress and a most classic beauty.

Thanks for this site. I was told not that long ago that I look like an actress named Gene Tierney so of course I had to look her up to see! Wow, I think we could have been twins in some of the pictures. It was really interesting to read about her life and her career as well.
