Love the 'Thin Man' movies. They don't make them like that anymore. I think William Powell was one of the best.

Loved him in all his movies. I have TCM in order to watch him in his heyday. Wish I was able to meet him. He seemed like such a gentle man.

Powell & Loy by far have the greatest chemistry of any male, female couple in movie history. Along with Carole Lombard in "My Man Godfrey" He wouldn't do that movie unless the part was given to Lombard whom at the time was his Ex-Wife.
The Thin Man Series never gets old for me, I can watch them every week. They also had a Thin Man TV series starring Peter Lawford with 72 episodes.

The word is that William Powell is going to be the Star Of The Month this December 2011 on Turner Classic Movies. Let's hope they get some of Mr Powell's lesser seen films. Come on, December  .
