I now have The Thin Man dvd set and the Powell/Loy collection, watched them all several times. My Man Godfrey is funnier each time I see it, I believe it's Carole Lombard's best work. I remember seeing a bio of Don Adams (Get Smart) and he said he based his acting and stand up on Mr. Powell.

This is a superb web-site! I think William Powell was a terrific actor. He was soo cool! He had that hipness that was not too common back in the movies of the 30's. William Powell was 3 times the actor then any of these ego maniac of today. Thank you for this web site!
