Big fans of William Powell! My wife Iris and I just watched"Libeled Lady" hilaious, but poignent, with Jean Harlow having only a short time to live. As Iris said, if William Powell is in a film, you know it's going to be good! Thanks for the great website!

I was born in 1945. My formative years were the 1950's when I had the fortune to watch William Powell movies on TV. I wanted to look like him and sound like him. Fast forward 50 years.So far, 5 women my age have said, "Do you know who you remind me of? Oh, what's his name? William Powell!" Now that we are in the 21st Century, we could use a few screen personnas like the one William Powell had for youngsters to look up to.
