City Streets   (1931)

Young lovers Sylvia Sydney and Gary Cooper are separated when Sylvia goes to prison for a crime committed by her bootlegger stepfather (Guy Kibbee).  While she's incarcerated, Cooper joins the gang of crooks to get rich quick, much to Sylvia's horror. Stylishly directed by Rouben Mamoulian, solid performances from both stars, great opportunity to see an impossibly beautiful young Coop.
